“This year’s Solar Crown has brought numerous twists and turns, yet the most stunning one remains on top even days afterwards. Speed Racer III close yet stunning win against Miami Harris shocked the entire fanbase of the Solar Crown. We attempted to get an interview with Ms. Harris, but she has not responded to our requests. However, Speed’s win as well as the upcoming Performance Challenge has surprisingly been the second and third-most talked about topics regarding the Solar Crown, respectively. The head topic that has dominated the newsprint was Stuart Wintory’s alleged slow down on doling out extra prizes. The rumors began to gain traction just after Speed Racer’s prize car, a 1980’s Lamborghini Countach, was not available for him to drive off as is the Solar Crown’s tradition. This led to numerous racers, pit crew staff and fans pointing out how Wintory’s open-handedness has slowed. We reached out to the Solar Crown officials for comment but we have not heard back.
